I work with my students to improve their confidence as well as their understanding of science so that they can achieve better results often from the very first lesson.

I help my students identify their own areas of weakness to inform future lessons. Our tuition builds on existing knowledge and improves confidence. I offer advice on exam techniques so my students can achieve the exam results they deserve.

I use an interactive whiteboard and lesson content is recorded allowing students to revisit lessons at will. I will sometimes set some additional work for students to complete between lessons. This could include watching a video, retrieval practice, or pre-reading a new topic. This means that lesson time can be used efficiently to identify and address misconceptions.

I tutor Science across the UK and the world (particularly China and Hong Kong). I have some 1-2-1 bespoke lessons plus small group lessons at GCSE. My focus is on GCSE Science and A level Biology. I also tutor at Manchester Hospital School and I love helping adults work towards their potential by assisting them in preparation for conversion courses or equivalence tests.
