I help my students identify their own areas of weakness to inform future lessons. Our tuition builds on existing knowledge and improves confidence. I offer advice on exam techniques so my students can achieve the exam results they deserve.
I use an interactive whiteboard and lesson content is recorded allowing students to revisit lessons at will. I will sometimes set some additional work for students to complete between lessons. This could include watching a video, retrieval practice, or pre-reading a new topic. This means that lesson time can be used efficiently to identify and address misconceptions.
We are always looking to speak with tutors looking to acquire more students or to work with us on exciting non-teaching projects too!
My approach extends beyond normal tutoring and incorporates mentoring and coaching to unearth character traits and skills needed for a student to truly succeed academically and in life. Over the last few years, I have tutored and helped a number of GCSE and A level students both through face to face and online. Most of them have gone to do various degrees including medicine at high-ranking universities in the UK. Last year alone I helped 5 A level students get into medicine. My own success story with my two daughters coupled with my qualification and varied teaching and tutoring experience makes me well placed to help your child achieve great results at GCSE or A levels in chemistry.
